Grandpa Rich’s Rib Rub is a blend I make in honor of the man that made it. Kind enough to give it to me and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He mastered this blend after years of BBQing in the backyard. His spicy granddaughters helped inspire this flavor with their love of heat and St. Louis ribs. Try this blend out in the smoker. Grandpa Rich’s Rib Rub should be generously rubbed on a rack of ribs. We prefer to put these in the smoker and let it do its thing. The blend of smoke, sweet, and heat is wonderful. Go ahead and add smoked ribs to a roaster with your favorite sauce. Cook low and slow. The meat will fall right off of the bone!
