Trinidad Scorpion “Butch T” pepper is derived from the Trinidad moruga scorpion, which is indigenous to Trinidad and Tobago. It is named after Butch Taylor, the owner of Zydeco Farms in Woodville/Crosby, Mississippi, who is responsible for propagating the pepper’s seeds. These peppers pack extreme heat so go easy at first!
Be sure to keep hands away from eyes and other sensitive areas after coming in contact with the chiles. After handling the chiles, wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water. .
