Description
Harissa is popular throughout N. Africa and is used somewhat like we might use a bottle of Tabasco. You can use Harissa in its dry state, but because of its heat, try blending with hot water to form a paste, then whisk in olive oil and lemon juice. Try it on grilled chicken or lamb, or create a snappy snack by using it to make spiced nuts.
