Serrano chiles are short peppers only growing to about 1 ½ inches in length. They are a great, fiery red color. Serranos are savory and spicy. These dried serrano peppers have been smoked for added depth of flavor. Use smoked serranos to add bold, uncomplicated heat and smokiness to dishes. These all-purpose hot peppers are perfect for hot sauces, great for pickling, wonderful for flavoring guacamole, chili, and rubs.
