Israeli Zahtar blend a lemony taste of sumac with very bright herb flavors. It has many uses and is certainly worth trying. Israeli Zahtar is wonderful on chicken or fish. Mix with olive oil to create a paste that you can simply spread on pita and toast ’til crisp.
